No matter the value a product represents, it will not sell unless it looks good, which is why PMS places such emphasis on striking and original packaging. The company has traditionally supported its exclusive products with packaging design that does justice to the quality and saleability of the goods, preferring that these tasks be carried out in-house.
The Group employs a total of seven graphic designers in the UK alone using the latest technology, complementing design and computer skills with 3-D modelling and cardboard sculpture.
This enables buyers and designers to liaise in building images and ranges. The in-house art department has been responsible for the logos and brand images which identify the company’s products in the minds of trade buyers and the consumer. A large volume of printed matter supports these ranges when they reach the market place. This can include flyers, point of sale material, advertisements, direct mail information and fact sheets for prospective purchasers.
